Time Travel Thursday

Today we go back in time...waaaaay back
See dat pretty lady holding da baby, dat is our gramma...daddy was going thru some old stuff in his closet looking fur some kinda papers and he found dis in da box! Dat baby she is holding is our mom and da young man next to dem is mom's brofur, can yoo beleeve dey had kameras way back when dino-sores roamed da earth. Da piksher was colored on and it was a copy of da original so now mom and dad are on a mishun to find da rest of da old pikshers dat gramma gave to mom afore dey even lived in dis house. Oh and we had a fun day yesterday. Dad got up at his normal time and den we woke mom up and she fed me den she did Zippy's paw stretches and den she gots her koffee and sat down to brush Sadie and da phone rang. Dad's boss called and sed dey wasn't working cuz of some kinda power and water thing at da bilding. So, we spent the day sitting in laps, napping wif dad, helping mom figger out how to make dad's cell fone thing take messages (dad can't find da directions and dey still don't know how to do it) and goofing around. Today mom is going to visit our old naybor lady. She is at a rehabilitation hopspittal. Her son called mom to let her know where she was, L never ever called mom back since da day she found Mrs. T laying on her bedroom floor! Oh and her and da sister-in-law are going to be making dekorashuns fur da old beans at da nursing home down da block. So we prolly won't be doing much visiting today...

What a very special and precious photo! :) It is nice that you had a day to spend with your dad because of the problems at his workplace. It is nice of your mom to visit your old neighbour and to make decorations for the seniors at the nursing home. :)

Speedy dear, I'm so happy you all had lots of lap time.

Mom says when she looks at old pictures it makes her feel eleventy-squillion. I think that must be really, really old.

PS Mom said she got the fleece sheets at Kohl's, but she also saw them at Target.

Having old photos of your beans must be fun! I've never seen any of my old pictures. Maybe they will bring home some after Christmas. ~Queen Snickers

I hope your Mom's having a good day visiting her neighbor and making decorations.

Your Mom is a cute baby in that photograph, and your Grandmom is very beautiful. I didn't know your Mom was so old dinosaurs were roaming around when she was young. She must be really, really old :-0

what a special photograph. You know, it is entertaining when humans reminisce. They tend to look rather dreamy eyed! x
