I went to the vet today. Not a good thing. Dr. B sez dat I wey 13 pounds and 10 oz. (down frum neerly 16 pounds-yay) and I could stand to loose another pound or so...well, he'z not zactly skinny and I think it's rather rood of him to effun menshun my wate! I also showed him dat I have no pee problums by taking a wiz on da table-hehehe. I am furry helthy and now evuryone der knows dat I also can to meow. Der wuz some consern cuz I've never sed a werd while at dat place til today. When we got der da whole waiting room wuz full big dogs and I got a little acited and started saying hi to all of dem. I am now sleeping off the horribulness. I did nothing wrong, why are they tortchuring me!
We are also amembering all our frends who whent to da bridje dis week. Ders a lots of sick kitties and we are saddened by da beans dat were kilt and hurted at VT on Monday. Last Saturday we losted our woofie frend Butkis and da little woofie across da street, Sam, hadda be helped to da bridj. Tomaro der is a prayer and ambrance circle/vigil at da Pet Prayer and Praise blog at 9pm Eastern Daylight Time (8pm central, 7pm mountain, 6pm pacific) please attend if yoo can. We hope dey don't mind dat we borrowed der grafik.

LOL I hiss and growl at the woofies at the vet too. So they know I talk lots, not meows, but growls.
It's been a rough week for both kitties and beans, hasn't it? Me and the Ballicai are purrin' that next week will be better for everybodies.

Speedy, I am glad you are OK. It was rude of the vet to mention your weight. Mine does that all of the time too! I'll have to remember the peeing on the table part - I have never done that before. Such a sad week for everyone - here's to a much better week coming up!

Speedy, first of all, Kudos on the good news at the VET. Although, it was rude to mention your weight. He would really give it to me for what I weigh, 16.5 lbs. Now, as the second part of your post, you're very sweet tribute is bringing tears to my eyes. Your picture is very nice and respectful. It's strange to see everyone's name side to side. What a sad week for all.

Thank you for mentioning Eddie. He was a sweet, inquisitive little piggie and we miss him.
Our vet is very rude too and keeps on telling us how much weight we have to lose.
