Update: Mom got nothing done, hehehe. The sister-in-law camed over and dey played yatzee wif der frends and drank tea and laffed. Now she is making dinner and da howse is still a mess, but she had fun...yeah, I gess we did too. We gots treats, we ate some of da nice butter cookies dat mom's frend brawt. Sadie even showed up fur a little while. Well, she did sweep and scrub da front porch, it's furry clean. Her plan was to spend today, tomoro and da weekend and clean everything...wash windows, shampoo rugs and furniture, wash walls, etc...but dad called at lunch and asked (besides what was going on here cuz he heard all da ladies laffing) if dey hadded plans this weekend. Well, dey's suppose to get der flu shots Saturday morning, ders Derby's party and dey hasta go grocery shopping. Well, dad gots a reservation fur dem at a spa! Both of dem! What's gotten into dad? Sunday, after church, dey is going to get facials (yeah, dad too) and massages and pedicures and all kinds of weerd stuff! Mom told da ladies and dey was furry acited fur her, but not nearly as acited as mom. She has been walking around here smiling all afternoon! Oh, and when mom asked dad what made him suddenly decide to do this he sed it was cuz dey haf both been working hard and he figgers mom's about to haf a nervus brakedown and dis is cheaper den a real vacation. Is he kidding, to mom dis is a real vacation...

We is hiding....mom is in dat crazy cleaning mode again...shhh, don't tell her we are unner da couch, she mite put us to work!
