That Speedy thinks he's soooo speshul

Well, if he is speshul den I'm speshuler...er, more speshul. I went to see daddy today, I din't hafta have an escort probably because they know that I'm a good cat and wouldn't cause any trouble. I greeted everyone all the way down the hall and, wow, when we got to dad's room I really checked it out. I mean, the smells in there were really weerd! I sniffed and sniffed and then I sniffed some more! Then, I heard my daddy's voice, on the bed, I jumped up there and THERE HE WAS. It was kind of chilly in his room so I climbed under the covers with him and purred. Then a bunch of ladies, mom said they were nurses, came in so dad put the bed up to a sitting position. Did you know that beds can move! I greeted everyone and let them pet me and fuss over me...hey, I deserve it. Then, I went to where the buttons are that I saw dad press to make the bed move and I tried to make the bed move some more but those buttons are really hard to press when you have little, delicate paws like mine. I don't know why they all laughed, it wasn't funny, it was hard! I got to stay with my dad for 5 hours even tho the "guidelines" say only 1 hour. I wouldn't get off the bed even when the nice lady in the white coat came in with the man in the white coat (the guy had treats in his pocket and was surprised that I didn't eat temptations) they said it was okay for me to stay where I was while they checked the seal on the wound vac. So, I just layed on dad's arm and watched them to make sure they didn't hurt my daddy. The lady doctor, that's what the white coat means, told dad that they are hoping they can do a skin graft tomorrow on the large hole he still has in his leg, but, the amount and color of the output concerns her.  So, we'll see what happens. I also helped dad take a nice long nap, I bet if Sadie goes Friday she'll get him to sleep even longer. Sadie is the "make the human nap" queen. In the meantime, I think I made daddy feel much better, even his nurse commented, when she was saying goodbye to me, that he seemed happier and even his blood oxygen level was higher than it's been since he got there. I want to say a big THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to all of you who have kept dad and mom in your purrayers. We'z all sure that most of dad's progress is because of you.
