Our daddy, the PITA
They took our daddy off da vent-a-later! He asked mommy fur some water, after he got a drink and mom put some of dat vassyleen stuff on his lips da first thing he asked was if she could put me on da bed! She said she couldn't because he's in da hopspittal, den he told da nurse he wanted his babies (dat's us kitties) and she said we couldn't come to da SICU (surgical intensive care) but he can haf pikshers of us. So, mommy is gonna bring our pikshers fur him to look at. She sez he was confused every time he woke up and dat dey is upping da pain medi-sin and dey haff big mitts on him so he can't pull his tubes and IV out. Of course, he also asked mom fur a cigarette and told mom to stop being such a bitch when she said NO. Mom sez dat's da jackass she amembers and da nurses laffed and sed it's good. I can't beleeve da first thing he wanted after he woke up was ME, his Speedy boy. Well, mom hasta get some pikshers printed to bring him...thank yoo fur all da purrs and purrayers, dey sure did help.

I think that's pretty neat, Speedy. He loffs you!!! I'm sure glad he's got the tube out. I hope he's home soon.

Hahahaha! You know when he starts acting jackass-ish, then he is on the mend! It must be a huge relief for him to be off the ventie-later. Tell him that if he wants to see you guys in person, he has to hurry up and get all better!

Your Dad wanted you before the cigarettes! That's really good and it's even better that he's off the ventilator. We hope he starts recovering fully now. This must have been such a worrying time for you all.
