Holy samolees, we had da youngest gerl and her husband and two, count 'em TWO, sticky little beans here all week....We hardly got any mommy time fur ourselves, our house was a constant flurry of activity and all because dey had a little fire on der back porch. Da construction guys fixed der wall and da plumber guy hadda put in a new sink and counter top and stuff all cuz da grill dat got left against da wall was still hot. Really, who puts a hot grill against a wall? Anyway, I spent a lot of time doing this...I hadda hide, a lot. Sorry I messed up da towels mommy but I just hadda get away from all dem beans! Yoo shouldn't be too mad, just look at da rest of da house! Dad sed he's gonna help...hahahaha don't make us laff. Dis is dad's way of helping Yeah, he took a roll of tp from da cabinet in da bafroom and left it where effuryone could get at it...we think he is afraid of da holder, maybe it pinched his finger or something, and dat is why he can't put da roll on der. Well, all dem beans left yesterday after dinner (we think da son-in-law really likes mom's cooking) and things are quieter but still not back to normal. Mom sez we won't be around a lot...sigh, she used all da company last week as an excuse and now she's using dis as an excuse.Dem little beans took out ALL of our toys and played wif us and dey gave us handfulls, yup handfulls, of treats. Dat basket, it is full of towels! All dem beans showering and da little ones in da baftub...man do dey make a mess. Mom sed dat it was nice haffing dem and she's glad she could help dem out when dey needed her, but, she's glad dey is gone. She's saying it will take a week to shovel out from unner da mess. Dad sez da house seemed bigger when bof da gerls lived here and mom reminded him dat he din't haf all dat junk here den. She sez 1,000 square feet and 800 of it filled wif his junk...he just grins. Den mom calls him a putz. What's a putz?
So, anyway, we will be bizzy wif lots of laundry, picking up, vacuuming, cleaning up da kitchen (it's wrecked) and mom still hasta weed da garden. Den she needs to vacuum out her car and wash it. Whew, we're sure glad we is kitties and don't work.

Haha, we've got a dad who duz exactly the same fing with the tp roll.
I thoughted it was a rekwirement for men to do dat wif the tip roll. Genes or somefin. Glad noone got hurt in the fire, just an ole kitchen wall. Hope it didn't burn up the foods tho.

Sanjee and the resta the Hotties
I have the perfect solution to your problem, Speedy dear. You, Sadie & Zippy must come over here and rest for a day or two while your house gets back to normal!
We have 2 new birdie feeders hanging on the deck now and Mom vacuumed so we need to put down new piles of fur, or we can just snuggle on my cushion while everyone else plays.
Love,
Misty
Oh wow! You were busy! It was so nice of you to stop by our blog during all that, and give good wishes to our foster cat, Shay. We are so sorry that he had to go to The Bridge yesterday. He was very sick, a lot more than our vet said he was. Momma is so sad.
Thanks again for coming by.

Huh? I don't see anything wrong with your house. Ours always looks like that.
Wow, Speedy! Your poor mom sure has a lot of work ahead of her. I'd keep hiding until she gets it all finished, if I was you . . .
. . . plus I agree with Chey. Our house is always messy.
I hope your mom does not work too hard! It looks like your dad already did the hardest chore of all. Heehee!
That is very nice your Mom and Dad were able to help out their girl and her family. I certainly don't envy the mess she has to clean up now :-0
Oh sticky beans - we're impressed you even came out from under the bed!
Looks like a lot of work to be snoopervised! :)
Whoa! Someone's gots lots of work to do! You better stay out of mom's way til she gets it all done!

putz????
harharhar!

Yup. Hot grill against a wall might start a fire.
We know what a putz is.
Good things you guys get out of helping your Mom with all of that work. Too much work!

What a busy time!
That was quite a week! It should be back to normal for you all soon.
Thanks for the birthday wishes earlier this month. I'm glad that you were able to join me by celebrating with a group nap.
