Formerly Feral Friday

Wow, is we glad to be inside! It snowed again and even dad said he feels sorry fur mom cuz she's gotta shovel...again. And da weather bean sez more snow Saturday night. We think if dad really felt that bad he would do some shoveling himself, but we gess he doesn't feel that bad. Well, back to napping in da warm spots...be careful out der shoveling mom. We wouldn't want you to hurt yoor scritching hand.

Oh I hope nothing happens to her scritching hand - that would be a tragedy! We had 3 more inches of snow last night. It does look pretty and hoo boy, am I glad I'm indoors too!

Definitely good to be inside instead of out in the snow. Been there, done that and it's COLD! It was good to see you at the Ham party yesterday. Hope yall had as good a time as I did. (Maybe not as good as Mini tho. I'm not sure what we're going to do with all that ham she brought home.)

Stay safe and warm! Your poor mom, having to shovel. :( I hope she doesn't work too hard shoveling.

We feel really sorry for your poor mom having to shovel by herself. Your dad should buy her a snow blower. Our dad really likes his.

That is very nice of you to worry about your momma with the snow shoveling. We got more snow this week, too, and I hurt lots and lots more bad words from Momma.

The best way to handle this situation is certainly napping in da warm spots. You are very smart cats.

Oh dear! My mommy draws the line at snow shovelling! She doesn't have a job either. She does most of the housework (when she remembers...) but she puts her foot down about snow. In fact, when it's as cold as it is here, she even puts her foot down about going outside at all!!! Daddy has to hunt our foods alone!

Lucky for daddy, we live in an apartment! (though he actually LIKES shovelling snow! Sometimes he does it around the building just 'cause!!!!!)

If you lay across her hands after she comes in and purr on them it heals anything! I KNOW it does!! Even in mommy sometimes pretends it doesn't and says ouch!

Snow is beautiful, but all of us Ballicai are happy to be indoors because as pretty as snow is, it's cold!

Tell your Mom to be careful of her back and her hand! Shoveling is a lot of work, or so my Mom says. I've never tried it myself, *smile*.

Purrs and snuggles from Marilyn!

We never have snow so I don't know much about shovelling. My aunt and uncle who live in Colorado have plenty of that white stuff but SHE never shovels, HE does. Maybe your mom should take note....

Yer Mom has to do all the work???
Why???

MoMo said...

Thanks for the invitation. I have my sleepover bag - should be warm enough, shouldn't it?

Tara said...

Not sure I understand why your mom has to do all the work. That was a stipulation to Dad when Mom and Dad bought the mountain house, she will not shovel snow!

Sadie, thanks so much for my secret paws gift! It was great! Hopefully mom will post some pictures soon.

It is so cold in the Big Piney Woods, great for snuggling and sleeping on the furless ones lap. At night I sleep on Momma and Precious sleeps on Daddy, for hours. They get uncomfortable and have to pee, but they won't disturb our beauty sleep. We have them wrapped around our paws.

My man has been working terribly hard to remove all that snow! Last weekend was the worst with the ice. The snow eating monster wasn't up to the task. It wasn't until Friday that he got the new monster. It's bigger and does better, but really! My woman should be out there doing that.

Tell your mom to especially keep her opposable thumbs warm and safe.

I feel sorry for your poor mom, out there shoveling in the cold snow. Is her scritching hand OK? It's very cold here but we haven't gotten any snow yet - maybe we could have some of yours. Then your mom wouldn't have so much to shovel and my dad is good at shoveling snow. Stay warm and cozy!
