Tuxie Toozday and some useable stuff...

this is me coming........
and going......I have a lovely tushie and don't mind showing it off! You can even see a little of my "flab purse" hanging there. I'm so glad those pesky children are gone, but now dad is making things weerd...I'll let mom tell you about it.
Ah yes, darling husband, love of my life, weirdest man I have ever met! I've been telling him I wanted a stroller for the cats, you know, they get fresh air, see the world...I get exercise. Well, he kept saying it was a waste of money. My arthritis doctor says no jarring on the old hip joints, well walking isn't exactly jarring. Is it? It must be because Monday night he brought this home... It's one of those "Gazelles" it's not bad really, but, it cost a whole lot more than a pet stroller! Is he insane! And it won't get the cats outside safely...he says we'll get one of those screen porches like Derby and The Crew have and I can walk on this without jarring my hips. Cool, very cool. Then he says "can you give me a hand with something in the van" um, sure I can. Well, he also bought one of these...
A mini-fridge, he's wanted one for so long. We were going to put it in the cabinet (the one directly behind) we measured and it fits perfectly. However, hubby isn't thrilled about the idea of having to bend almost to the floor to get a soda out so we're taking the phone off the wall above it and putting it on the counter top there. It's not even installed yet and it's packed with soda, beer and my last bottle of Chirstmas wine! We're all set for company anytime, and that is not an invitation! I'm still getting over last week. I still need to clean up and put way and try and make a small semblance of order out of the chaos the Team Destruction left behind. They stayed in my guest room, which doubles as "my room". You know, my files, my clothes in the closet, my shoes on the shoe racks, some of my craft supplies, my jewelry box...apparently they had a field day playing with my stuff! I wouldn't mind so much but they didn't put anything back! Oh, and the foster kittens are leaving Friday, we have pictures to post....tomorrow!

Nice photos Sadie. I don't see a flab purse!

Too bad you didn't get a stroller. :( I don't know about your mom, but both of my mom's parents have arthritis, and they say their doctors have highly recommended walking. They even have a treadmill that they walk on in the winter when it is too cold and icy to be safe outdoors. My mom's dad used to be a runner (he was a firefighter and fire chief, so had to stay fit) but now, because of the arthritis, he can only walk. He even had funny-looking toes and fingers from the arthritis, and he's okay to walk!

I hope your mom's arthritis allows her to take you guys out for walks in a stroller. I love mine!

So sorry you didn't get the stroller.
We can't see you guys on the gazelle and the fridge might be a little hard to open and get a drink of water out of. Why Dad's don't understand we'll never know!! Keep chanting stroller, stroller and maybe he will get the hint! Thanks for coming over!! We are going to have a lot of fun.

Funny, the LL says the TM is the weirdest man she's ever met yet she loves him a lot too. I don't really get beans in general but male beans....they are just strange. I went out in the stroller last night and the LL says its very easy to push but I'm a terror screaming the whole way.

well, at least he didn't come home wif a baby stroller!

mommy has a fridge kind of like that - it's for wine and it sits on our kit-chen counter. like she can't turn around and put the wine in the regular fridge.

Darn it! No stroller :( And a stroller would take up much less space in the house than the Gazelle thing. Because the stroller folds right up! Oh well.

ps: Sadie, you have a cute bottom. Is it OK if I say that?

Cute bootie! A stroller would be way more fun that that stinking Gazelle. Dads are weird sometimes.

My Lady was very happy to hear that you got your house back to yourself. That must have been rough! Now, Clyde and I say go and buy the stroller anyway, just don't tell Dad.

Sadie and Speedy I like how you both have that splotch right on your noses. It's quite distictive. Are you two littermates?

Bummer about the stroller. Maybe for Christmas your mom can buy your dad a stroller. Just trying to help.

Good luck,
Tyler

You have a very cute tushie and I like the little white hair sparsely dispersed on your beautiful black tail. Very cool.

Too bad you didn't get a stroller. But that gazelle think looks like it might be fun for your mom...but watch out and don't try to walk to close while she is excercising it might konk you on the head...ooouch!

No stroller. A machine dat yoo haf to work at and dat makes yoo sweat. A frigermator dat has no beer or wine or niptinis in it. Nefurmind one strike. Dat's free strikes.

Watch out for that Gazelle-thing, you guys! It's pretty tricky..when your mom is on it, the feet come flyin' out and you can get pretty bonked if you're in the wrong place..curiosity CAN kill a cat with one of those! We used to have one..we don't now. Your Dad has quite a sense of humor, tho', a fridge instead of a stroller? Hmmm.

Yup - I agree with Angus. Those things are dangerous to curious kitties. We have an exercise bike in the living room and I can't resist those moving pedals. Cocoa is afraid of moving objects and Grr just isn't interested in what anyone else is doing (she's very self-absorbed), but I've gotta check out anything that's going on - especially if it's moving. I've gotten bopped by a pedal twice, even though the Lady is constantly looking out for me. Sometimes the people even put up "walls" around the thing, but I try to check out those pedals anyway. Ouch!
