Rainbow Bridge...

We lost another frend this week. First Laurence's beloved baby Piper and now sweet Libby Marie. Momma believes in the rainbow bridge. She knows that the ones that came before are waiting for her there. For those of you who don't know about the bridge here is he original poem.

The Rainbow Bridge Story

Just this side of heaven is a place called the Rainbow Bridge.

When a beloved pet dies, it goes to the Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills and lakes for all of our special friends, so they can run and play and swim or fly together. There is plenty of food and water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

Animals who were ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them from days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one thing. They miss someone very special to them -- the person they left behind.

Then a day comes when one animal suddenly stops and looks into the distance. The eyes become bright and intent; the body quivers with excitement. Suddenly, it breaks away from the group, speeding over the meadow or through the lake - running, swimming, slithering or flying, going faster and faster.

YOU have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. Happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head. You look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together…

Momma is lighting candles and purraying all week for all our frends in need, be it the loss of a loved one (both furry and not) the need of a job or for the guidance of the hands of a surgeon. We hope you'll all join her.

It's always hard to lose a dear friend, but this time of year is even worse. But, we can take comfort knowing at The Bridge, there's no more pain or illness any more.

It is very sad indeed to loose friends but at least they are at the happy Rainbow Bridge.

You are smokin!! I'd love to teleport over sometime but I don't want to step in on my BF Rocky's gals.
