I sure do miss my daddy, I don't know where dey took him, all I know is men in uniforms came here and put him on a rolling bed and I haven't seen him since. I heard mommy on da fone thing today talking to Uncle Gil and she told him he is about da same. Dey haf him on stuff to keep his blood pressure up, stuff to make da infekshun die (antie biotik) and something for da pain and something else to make him stay asleep. Oh, and she sez he's on a machine dat goes 'woosh, woosh' she called it a vent-a-later. I've seen our vents here and why dey would lay him on one is a misteree to me. About effury other day dey take him to a vet table and clean out infekshun, just to stay on top of it. Mom calls it neck-row-tizing fash-ee-i-tis. Susie (our frend) called it flesh eating bakteria. Mom told us dat daddy will be der fur a long time, like a squillion, squillion naps. She was talking goofy about dem putting skin grafs (why are dey making grafs outta skin, shouldn't dey be on paper?) on his legs when dey make dis bad stuff dat is eating him go away and some kind re-hab, we din't even know he hadded a hab to begin wif. Well, mom was gonna do laundry but den she decided dat maybe we would like a couple of his shirts wif his stink on it to lay on once in awhile so she din't wash dem and put dem in a plastic bag to keep da stink in. It's nice to smell dem once in awhile so we don't furget his speshul stink but I still miss him.
We'd like to thank everyone for the purrs, purrayers, healing thoughts and hugs. We know they're helping because dad is stable despite being very, very sick. Even his nurses say he's doing pretty well for a guy who is as sick as he is. So (((hugs))) right back to all of you, the CB really is the greatest community on the innernets, maybe even on earth!
