Does it have a magnetic personality?

Mom haf been saying many, many bad words. She hadda disconnect our router because it is supposedly interfering wif daddy being online. So, da naybor across da street is letting us piggyback on his but it is very low connection (unless mom stands in da middle of da street) and it's very very slow...Dis is making mom crazy. About a month ago mom discovered dat dad had one of dem refrigerator magnet calendars stuck on da side of da tower. She took it off and yelled at dad, dad claims dat it haf no affect on da computer as it was a small magnet and on da opposite side and below where all da "guts" is on da tower. Mom sez she's purrty sure dat putting any kinda magnet any where on der is not good. We want to visit our friends, we want to see funny pikshers over at ICHC, we want to watch mom play games wif her frends online when she should be washing dishes. *sigh* We'll be back when mom figgers out how to get rid of dad fix da prollems...

I think your mom is right on this one!!! The router shouldn't have anything to do with being online. Good luck!

I hate having those kinds of problems. I hope your Mom can get it fixed soon.

If it's any help, we can look at the funny pics at ICHC and laugh on your behalf??? :-)

sheesh - magnets on the tower? YIKES!! oh, and can't your daddy get a router that BOF of them can use?

Uh yeah. No magnets on the towers.. not a good experiment if you like your system.

Will the nice neighbour let your dad live there?

That might solve the issue!

I don't think you should get rid of your Dad.

Magnets any where near a computer is bad. Did you know that some cell phones have magnets in them, too! I thinks you should keep dad!

Maybe you can forgive Dad just this once as long as he puts no more magnets on the computer :)

Hmmm magnets don't sound like a good idea. Can't both of your Beans work off the router?

Hi everyone, we gave you an award today.

Speedy dear, I tore an old bedspread out of the linen closet this morning! Come on over and nap on it with me. It's really comfy.

No, we agree that there shouldn't be magnets on the computer! We hope your mom forgives your dad - at least he's a good hair cutter! Those are hard to find!

Mom did a search for "computers and magnets" and there seems to be different opinions on if it's harmful or not, depending on the strength of the magnet and where it was placed.

PS: While the rest of you are welcome at any time, please don't send your Dad over here. Mom has enough trouble with our OWN!!

Oh noes! Maybe you need a new router? We had to replace ours a while ago. I think they can eventually go Bad.

That is really weird. After making my earlier comment today that your main page was empty, I cleared my cache and tried your main page again. Posts were there, however there's only 18 comments on this post. When I viewed it previously via the archives, my comment made 23 comments. Blogspot must be having major hiccups!

Duh! My comment was on another day's post. Below is what I said. The only thing visible on my ealier visit was your header and sidebar, the rest was blank.

"What happened to your blog? When I access it by the main page there's nothing there (same in IE). I had to go into archives to see your recent posts."

Can't your dad and mom use the same router? My Mom has 4 puters all using the same router here. Lucky for us, the guy with gray hair and beard who lives here has nothing to do with the puters. He doesn't like them, he doesn't like using them, so all 4 are for me and Mom.
