Thursday...blah

Our dad haf been sick fur two days and mom is starting to really get on him about seeing da doctor. Or at least calling his diabetes nurse about whether he should still be shooting up as he can't keep anything in his tummy. Mom's mad dat he won't take his blood sugars either...he's being a butt head, she sez, and den she just gets mad and sez "fine, do what yoo want, just make sure yoor life inshurints is paid up" den he sez "oh, yoor so funny. What would yoo do without me". Den she sez "enjoy my life as a widow, not having to clean up behind you". Den dad gets real quiet and sez dat he is gonna go sulk now...dat always makes mom laff. Oh, Speedy and I were playing last night and da big booger pushed me in da litter box (it was clean) and sat on my head! I started screaming, something I've never done afore, and den mom came running into da room and yelled at him to get off of me. He slunk away cuz he knew he had been bad and mommy brushed all da litter out of my furs and told me what a good gerl I am. Later he came in da liffing room where I was laying on da couch wif mom and made up wif me. Um, let's see, what else...mom trimmed da bushes out front so our vue is effun better, she made baked apple fritters and shared wif us, mostly da whipped cream but a little bit of da crunchy crust too. Dey was tasty. Uncle Gilbert called and da neece is moving into her own apartment, dat is furry aciting. He's been laid off work, dat is not so good. I kinda miss his sleeping bag from when he lived wif us, it was nice to sleep on. I think dat is all. *yawn* I think I'll go nap now.~Sadie

Wowie: Your Dadbean sounds EXACTLY like our Dadbean. Aren't they all just reeediculuz about the medical stuff and they make our Mombeans go loopy in the head! Our Zoolatry Human agrees with yours about enjoying life "at the window"... ha, ha.

Sadie, I would like to come and share your view..there are NO windowsills in my house! There's just something wrong with that! I also would have liked some of that whipped cream and my mom would have loved some of the fritters!

PS: Your dad needs to check his sugar and eat right and walk everyday! That way he'll always be around to give you skritches and stinky goodness!
