Mancat Monday-Work

We was chatting wif some of our frends last week ::waves paws:: and we got around to what our dad's did to earn colored papers to buy us foods...my dad doesn't go day hunting anymore but when he did he designed 'lektrikal boxes for dock loaders. Dem is da things dat dem jinormus trucks back up to to unload der stuff. All dis is teknikal stuff and hard fur a mancat to unnerstand so let me tell yoo it involves lifting up a metal flap and lowering it into da back of da truck and keeping it steady so dat forklifts can drive back and forth taking stuff off da truck.
Dis is da inside stuff dat makes things work - opens doors, pulls da deck up, beeps and blinks and guides da truck back to where it belongs.
Dad sez dat deze wires make da lights work...
Dis is what it looks like when it is all done. Dad sez dat dem stickers dat go on are da hardest part. Dey hasta be strate and effurything.
dis is dad's old work area...der is lots of wire and stuff
Deze are bins full of light bulbs...but not da kinds our dad collects.
We gots tagged fur some meme's last week but mom's been so lazy bizzy dat we haffent gotten around to dem. Mom's promised to do dem this week...we'z gonna keep on her til she does!

Oh my, your dad's work is so complicated. He must be a smart one.

Thanks for coming around to visit. I am better now but the vet says my tests are still not too good. Have to go back again next week for followup. *sigh*

Wow, all of that looks very complicated! The wires would be fun to play with, but that would probably be frowned upon.

That is a very interesting job. Now that he's retired, I wonder which your Dad likes better - making those electrical boxes or making messes and aggrevating your Mom?

Thanks for showing this! If we photographed our people at work, all you'd see is messy offices with a computer on a desk. Bor-ing!
