It's Saturday
We're suppose to get a big storm this afternoon, snow, freezing rain, sleet...but, being cats, we are just teleporting to Marilyn's Gotcha day party and working on our letter to Santa. Mom is making Krissmouse presents this year, the fambly agreed on exchanging gifts made/created instead of store bawt. Why? Cuz uncle Gil is struggling financially, da brofur and sister-in-law hadda haf der basement dug up and fitzed, der are two kollej stoodents who don't haf much money and one neece dat just gots married last Febrooary who is saving up to buy a house. Effuryone agreed dat being together and enjoying a nice Krissmouse Eve wif fambly was da best present of all...

We're getting your storm tomorrow :-p Not looking forward to that.
I think homemade gifts are the best. Especially food :-)
That sounds like the best way to celebrate Christmas!! Handmade comes from the heart :) Besides, it's all about family being together, eating good food and sharing! Especially sharing food with us,heehee
See you at Marilyns' I'm taking Miss Peach and you should see her dress!!!!
I think hand-made presents are very wonderful! I hope you stay warm today.
That's wonderful that you are all making your presents. I bet they are wonderful!
Yeah, we gots the white stuff blowing around outside and Momma said bad words this morning when she opened up the curtains. Your momma is a great lady and takes care of lots of people, doesn't she? I read your post about her taking care of the older Bean lady neighbor, too. I bet you guys will have a great Krissmouse with the presents you all make.
Your buddy, Jimmy Joe
It is snowing here and it's pretty! You have a very smart family, home-made is the very best!
That's the bestest way. Maw uzed to make prezzies fur her fambly, but dey ist too materialistic so she dunt gif dem nuttin now. So we just has Krissmouse wid us.
BTW, we neffer use owr fireplace. It dunt git cold enuf, an wen it duz, Maw duzn't wanna open da damper.

Stay warm and dry guys. I can hear the sleet coming down.
Handmade presents are best. My OTW is making all our presents and presents for her mom and dad herself. She doesn't get to spend Christmas with anyone but the Big One and us, though.
We think your idea about peoples not leaving unless the pet-sitter is better than the peoples at spoiling is a good one, but our peoples don't even bother with pet-sitters mostly. They just leave us with extra kibbles and water and a fresh litter box.
Stay safe and warm in the storm!
Your plan for Christmas sounds good! What my humans used to do when they were back in Canada, was pick a name from a hat. That way, each person only had a buy a gift for one other person. It was getting too expensive otherwise!
Our mom says she likes the way you hand craft yer gifts.....hard not to put lots of love into a gift when you make it yourself.

That storm sounded BAD! I heard the Investor talk about it last night.
We think it's great your fambly is making presents for each other. My Investor and the Man are doing the same this year... for much the same reason your family is.
The Investor says we have no more mold and new floors, but we are still suing the builder and some plumbings needs to be replaced still. He is NOT a good human. He is probably the person who wrote mean things about our friend Chase! Bad humans!!
Purrs, purrs, purrs to you.

Made (or found) prezzies are great! We love it when we get a mousies given to us (real or not-quite-real).
That's the best sort of Christmas anyway. SS understands how money can be a bit tight with college students because she is surviving on a scholarship.
