Wondrous Wednesday

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving or as we cats call it, turkey eating day. We'z been asked to do da box of life meme that the beyootiful Miss Peach started by both our frends Mickey and Samantha and Tigger. We're thinking about what to put in such a wondrous and awesome box! Since mom isn't making dinner tomorrow we'll get her to help us post it then. Today mom is furry sore and tired, she went out yesterday and cleaned up our entire yard and brawt in our hose reels and all the plant pots and trimmed off the rest of our cat nip. She said dat she's got about 5 pounds drying in da garage! Today she is sore from raking so she is gonna just make a couple pies fur tomorrow and take it easy...aaaah more lap time!

Mum has been doing the yard work in smaller batches. But it sounds like they have been doing the same thing. But I know there isn't five pounds of nip in the garage.

Happy Thanksgiving and Turkey Day.

Five pounds of nip! Wow, that's as good as gold.

Sorry that your mom is sore, but she's lucky that she got her garden all cleaned up already. Most of our leaves are still on the trees! The oaks will continue to drop leaves all winter, so the yard will never stay very tidy. That's okay though, because Mom enjoys yard work. We sometimes get warm days throughout the winter when she can work in the yard.

Our mom just made two pumpkin pies to take with her down to N.C. tomorrow. Did your mom make pumpkins ones too? Our mom finds baking therapeutic. It's been a month since Dad dumped her and she still does a lot of crying, but she'll manage to get through this. Thanks for caring.

Happy Turkey Day.

Wow! Our Maw rakes a bag a day. Sometimes 5. So she can empathize with your Mom's soreness. Our leaves won't finish falling until the end of December.

Yay for Turkey!

Yay for lap time!
