We were going to do a Wordless Wednesday post but we were over at Jody's blog and she's feeling kinda low, alone and friendless. We know that being a member of the blogosphere gives us lots of frends but sometimes that is not a substitute for real human touch. On top of that she and another wonderful lady bean reskooed a mom cat and her three kittens. The mom cat has an injured eye and will need veterinary care, expensive vet care....so, we are asking you to please go over to the blogosphere look in the column on the right and give to Jody's efforts. We'z putting a piksher of da mom cat here dat is kinda grafik so if yoo don't wanna see it go over to da blogosphere now and skip the piksher. And please, give to help this poor mom who despite being so severely injured took good care of her babies...

Oh that poor sweetie! We'll go right over and send a donation. That's what the cat blogosphere does -- HELP CATS!
oh this really just breaks all of our hearts......sigh ......
IT is been a rough week around the blogosphere. WE have been reading Jody's bloggie and at times we have felt so overwhelmed by her sadness and isolation. She does so much for so many...and it just ... we're speechless.
Purrs

Oh poor cat! That looks really awful!
What a wonderful woman to help out like that.
It just seems so overwhelming for us to read all of that--so many sad stories about kitties.
I've been receiving donations to the PayPal fund set up on the Cat Blogosphere donation page. Thanks to everyone who has donated to help this sweet little mommy cat. It was heartwarming to read the story of how she brought her beloved kittens out to Jody for help. Wow.
Jody is an amazing person, she is so dedicated to the cats. I wish there were some way we could help her get recognition in her area. Ideas, anyone?????
If you would like to make any donation, no matter how small, please visit the link above or email ML (Mary Lynn): mlgigg AT sbcglobal DOT net.
OMG! Can they save her eye? Poor fing!
It's been a sad week. I don't want yous to go into hidin, unless you see the PTUs. In this bloggin community, we can share the good an the bad an hopefully help each ofur feel better, even when fings are bad. There are good fings too, like helpin Jody an ofur res-q-ers, Millie's story, an the Mites.
Bonnie did her bestest to escape Mom, but she cheated an wrapped her in a blanket to shove her into the PTU. At the vet, Bonnie maded her vein disappear so they wouldn't take her blood, but the vet cheated an tooked it frum her neck instead. She'll be home later; in the meantime, I'm piggin out to make up for goin hungry last night! Purrs an ankle rubs!
The poor mommacat :( I hope the V-E-T can help make her better soon!
Thank you ever so much for stopping over at my internets howse today, it's furry nice to meet you all, even tho it is so sad in the cat blogosphere today. I am sending many purrs!
oh wow what a poor poor kitty xxx
Oh that poor thing. My Lady had a kitty once who had its eye ripped out by some kinda animal. She came home with it dangling out of its socket. It was really gross is what she told me. I hope this kitty gets better.
Thanks for posting this. We took a few green papers out of our Good Kitty-Cat jar for this sweet pretty momma.
wow.
Thanks for this amazing post. We just donated.
And we could only scan her blog, because for us, tonight, it is just more sad upon sad upon sad.
But we bookmarked it for a time when we are feeling more strong and able to take all the grief into us.
Are we the only cats (and beans) struggling so very hard this last week just to keep breathing?
This is a very hard week, both on the Cat Blog Sphere, and on the Planet.
All we can do is help each other with whatever we can give.
Tonight we can give some $$ and some tears and love.

That poor momma cat. But Peach's sister Simone is living proof that a one-eyed girl can make it okay in this world! I sent some fur and purrs over to Jody.
Your buddy, Jimmy Joe
P.S. thanks for sayin' I'm better lookin' than Speedy, Sadie and Zippy [~blush~], but I don't know--he's a pretty handsome guy!
There is special fundraising post on the Cat Blogosphere with pictures of the cats and links (Jody now has a video of the story and of the kittens).
Also, to everyone who donates at least $10, I will send a special, cat-related surprise.
And thank you to all the generous people who donated already! (You'll get surprises, too).
